Balloon Art Classes and Workshops

Classes and Workshops for both adults and children.

Balloon Art Workshop

With a Balloon as your medium you will learn to make basic shapes.

Followed by improvising your own designs as well as advanced creations like a monkey in a tree, an alien and crazy hats. Balloon art develops motor skills builds self-confidence and promotes creativity and the use of the imagination.

The History of the Balloon

Balloons have been around for thousands of years in various forms. The modern Balloon as we know it has been around for less than a century.(Samples will be brought in to show how the Balloon has evolved from animal skins to the modern latex Balloon.)

Storytelling and Poetry with a Twist

Storytelling and Poetry with Balloons taking the shape of the characters as the story or poem unfolds. After the performance the students will learn how to make there own Balloon shapes.

Balloon Art Workshops

These workshops are hands on and can be done in groups both large and small. Balloons can be taught to both children and adults at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. The Balloon workshop and the Magic workshop can be incorporated into a Magic and Balloon art workshop.

This Workshop will help participants develop

Motor Skills-by simultaneously twisting the Balloon and using your imagination you are developing hand mind coordination.
